The size and type of bead that is being used here should be taken into consideration, that is due to the style of the bead. You can make a single spiral or even double or many layers with spiral design its all depends on how creative you are and how you can combine colours while working with beads.

How To Make Spiral Two Design With Crystal And Seed bead.

These are the procedures to follow to make this design. Materials include:

1. Seed bead (Size 3)
2. Beading Thread(0.25mm or 0.30mm)
3. Beading Needle
4. Crystal Bead 6mm (size 6) or any other bead you would love to use.
5. Hook

Remember this is not a choker bead so its wont be tight or stay on your neck, rather this is a longer bead design. Hence wisdom is to be applied here when cutting your thread.

NOTE: I will use Sb as seed bead.
1. Cut a desired length of the thread, knot one seed bead at the extreme end and insert your needle to start.

2. Insert six(6) sb, one(1) crystal bead and two(2) sb again.

NB: It is advisable to use the same color of seed bead here so you won't be confused while you are on it.

3. Pass your needle upside down through the four(4) sb directly under the two(2) sb one(1) crystal and two(2) sb.

4. Insert three(3) sb, one(1) crystal and two (2) sb into your thread.   Push away two(2) sb one(1) crystal two(2) sb. The remaining one(1) sb you didn't push away, count three(3) other sb underneath making four of them and pass your needle through the four(4) seed beads at once.

                     It will form this

5. Repeat (step four) and continue to insert 3 sb 1 crystal 2 sb and follow the same process in step four till you finish your necklace.

NB: You are expected to pass the needle into the four (4) sb alone till you get to your desired length.

6. When you are satisfied with the length of your necklace and you are sure its very firm. Then, you can go ahead and attach your desired hook.

Your necklace is ready to wear

Some times ago, I sat down and decided to make another design as spiral. Guess what, I did, it was so lovely...smiles. I am very sure you won't find spiral necklace difficult any longer because this post is specially made for you.

Materials Needed include:
1. Seed bead 10/0 (size 2)
2. Crystal bead 8mm (size 8)
3.Beading Needle
4.Beading Thread 0.30mm
5. Hook

The Procedures Are:
1. Cut a long beading thread and make it into four parts.

2. Drop one crystal (or whichever bead you desire) into the four (4) threads you already made at once and use it to knot at the extreme end so the beads won't fall off.

3. Then drop two(2) crystals into the thread.

4. Divide the four lines of thread into two equal part; meaning two lines on the left and two will be on the right and insert your needle on both sides (that's means you will be working with two needles) and you can also decide to use your hands, its all about what you are comfortable with.

5. On one side with two threads: drop three(3) sb one(1) crystal and interlock/ cross with one(1) sb. Do the same thing for the second side also.

6. The thread will intercept to both sides, then  follow the same process in step five by dropping three(3) sb one (1) crystal and interlock/ cross  with one (1) sb.

NB: Anywhere, the crystal bead end on one side you start with seed beads and vice versa.

Continue the process until you get to your desired length.

7. Attach your hook at the end of your necklace.
I have successfully created two lovely designs from this post. And your necklace is ready to wear.

I do hope this post is quite helpful for you in creating your spiral design.
