How to Make A Simple Necklace With Pearl Beads For Beginners.

Here is  a list of steps to create a simple necklace that you can put on any outfit. There are tools, techniques and different  materials that are quite essential when it comes to creating  beads.
Bead Making requires patience and every level of concentration that you can get in order to achieve your desired aim.

To create any kind of bead, here are things you need to take cognisance of :

Measure Your Neckline With A Measuring Tape
This is needed to know the length of the beading thread you'd  need for your design. The neckline for babies are 12 inches while for adult is 16 inches. You can add extra  inches if you will be working on a loosed necklace because the string will be longer but if the necklace you are working on is a choker, then it should be tighter so you can add an half or one inch in order for you to attach your hook.

Determine the Pattern of beads you would love to use
There are quite a large number of beads that are available, you can get any at bead stores. There are seed beads different sizes, pearl beads, glass, crystal beads and others. Choosing the right beads are very important when it  comes to making beads because if you choose a wrong beads it will not only destroy your work or  bring out the beauty , it won't make your beads  to be tight and firm like it should be.
But for this post, I am using Pearl bead to make the simple design.

Get Your Beading Needle
This is important to make it easier for you to attach your beads to your necklace using the needle which  saves time unlike when you decide not to use the needle, you can as well make use of your hands.

Choose the beading thread you would work with: There are several types and sizes of threads, there are 0.25mm, 0.30 mm, 0.35mm, 0.50mm and other thick wires for  some different designs of bead.

For this post, a 0.30mm wire will be appropriate to use.

Use your desired hook to hold the beads together.

Materials Needed Include
1. Measuring Tape

2. Beading Wire/thread
3. Beading Needle
4. Pearl  Beads

5. Flat Nose Pliers

6. Wire Cutter

 7. Hook

Steps To Follow
1. Measure your desired thread  using the tape and use the wire cutter to cut it out in order to start your work.

For this post, I am using 40 inches because I want a longer bead.

2. Get your desired beads and place them in any container. String your beads into the thread one after the other using your needle (you can use two different colours and check the colour variation that  will match your beads) until you cover all of the wires with beads.

3. When you are done filing the wire with beads, attach your clasp on both sides of the bead (left side and right side) then attach your hook on the beads.

4. Use a round nose plier to clip the clasp on both sides of the wire. Cut the remaining wire with the wire cutter. It is advisable that you leave an half inch(0.5m) of wire that has been carefully hidden inside the beads.

Now you have successfully made your necklace. Make sure its firm and lovely to behold.

Tips For Blending Bead Colours

Colour blending can be intimidating for a lot of people but this tips will make it a lot easier to come up with your colors. Colour plays a large part of our dressing everyday, what we wear, how we wear them, how we combine colours to suit our dressing.     One of the ways to understand the effect colours have on each other is to understand the relativity of colour. Blending of colours is very important while beading. For a lot of us, choosing colours of beads for a  beading project can take a longer time than starting the jewelry itself.         According to Carl Jung, the founder of Analytical Psychology he explained that human beings belong to two personality types which has a lot to do with how they behave in their day to day life which are; the introvert and the extrovert. I could remember vividly now while I was in my final year in the university many years ago, my Head Of Department then, while talking about these perso...
